Movies: I hate scary movies of any kind. I'm not that into chick flicks either unless it's something like the "Notebook", I mean who doesn't love Nicholas Sparks movies? Our family loves Star Wars but we are not geeks!!!!

Books: The Left Behind Series, anything Nicholas Sparks, John Grisham or Maeve Binchey

Got my hair cut on Friday....7 inches of hair Gone! My husband was a little taken aback but whatever. He knew if he said anything I would be bald today. I'm defiant like that sometimes.

The Prom

The Prom was this weekend. We had a great time but boy was I tired yesterday. You would have thought it was my prom.

Taylor and I got up early Saturday morning to do nails and toes, went to the boys t-ball game, went to get hair done, went to pre-prom pictures, all the parents went to dinner while the kids went out, met back at the Grand March. We went back home to rest a minute and prepare for breakfast at 4am at Johnson's (Taylor's boyfriend) house.

Got in bed at 8...back up at 9 to go to church.
I'm beat but wasn't she beautiful?

I made the Lemon variation but will try Peanut Butter tonight. I mean an Ooey Gooey Peanut Butter Butter cake....that's what I'm talkin about. Enjoy:

Prom Season is here

Taylor and I went shopping on Saturday for her prom dress. I went to the prom but never with a date...sad eh? I have to admit I'm living a bit vicariously through Taylor on this one but we're having fun. We only went to three stores and decided on this dress at Dillards.

The picture shows the dress with red accenting but Taylor chose brown. It's gorgeous!
